A Week in the Peak

We have launched an exciting new product to bring together the best that the Peak District has to offer, wrapped up in a one week stay!

What do you think of when you think of Derbyshire and the Peak District? Rolling hills, nice china, oatcakes and period houses? You wouldn't be wrong, but there is so much more to our fantastic area that waits to be discovered. Our landscapes are dramatic - peaks, caves, cliffs and edges. Our food is delicious - cheeses, chocolates, pies and puddings. Our drink is renowned - a rich history of brewing, award-winning distilleries and exciting vineyards.

We are really passionate about our local area. The first British national park to come into existence, the Peak District is home to not only a tremendous amount of industrial history but also stunning landscapes.

Amongst its rolling hills and edges are some exceptional food and drink producers who have gained national recognition for their delicious goods. Each evening, our guests will be entertained with a tasting from a local producer such as Amber Valley Wines.

They will introduce their range of products and provide an interesting insight into the production, their history and most importantly - their flavour! In addition to local Wine, we will be exploring beers, gins, cheeses, pies, puddings and much more! All locally sourced within a 15-mile radius of the Centre.

Our natural landscapes are varied, so our guided walks will take in three different areas of the Peak District. They will show some famous landmarks, as well as some little known magical corners that guests will be dying to share with others. The walks will be designed to be a full day, which will help justify a filling and delicious evening meal!

All food, accommodation, tasting experiences and guided walks are included in the price of the week, for more information have a look at our event page - Week in the Peak

Week in the Peak runs from September through to November on selected dates: £395 pp, £615 per couple. To book please visit our website, or to discuss options you can reach our team on explore@mountcook.uk
